A/ Personal Information that Direct Alert May Collect About You:
Direct Alert collects personal information about you that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. We may collect this information directly from you or from our Direct Alert web sites, dealers/retailers, affiliates, service providers, and other sources that compile lists of potential vehicle purchasers, always with your consent when required by law.
For example, when you purchase or lease a Direct Alert system, information may be collected for the above stated purposes. Direct Alert also conducts contests, quizzes, surveys, promotions and offers several forms of personalized services, in respect of which you may be requested to provide certain contact and eligibility information such as name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address and other information that may be required to provide or administer these services or promotions. We use this information as described in our list of uses set out above. The more information you volunteer, and the more accurate it is, the better we are able to customize and improve your experience with Direct Alert.
B/ Visiting The Direct Alert Web Site:
(i) What Information Direct Alert May Collect Through its Web Site:
During normal Web site usage, you can visit our site without communicating any personal information. However, to make use of certain features on our site, such as contests, promotions and personalized services, users may need to register with the Direct Alert site.
